With God Now

This is for my brother, Tom, who died last week of cancer. I was hesitant to share this poem, but God reminded me why He gives them to me...to share.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

Brother I know you are with God now

But still my heart aches at the loss

Your pain has been exchanged for joy

Because of Jesus' death on the cross

I praise the Lord for hearing our prayers

And answering every single one

Thank you my King for saving my brother

And letting him enter Your Kingdom

For by Your stripes he is healed

And will dwell in the house of the Lord

I praise You for he will live eternally

In the arms of Your wondrous love
