What I Desire Most

Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 1 Peter 2:11


Help me abstain from sinful desires

Which wage war against my soul

Encourage me to seek Your will

And give You full control


Lead me to follow Your example

Leaving behind my old ways

Awaken in me the desire to be

Obedient to You every day


Strengthen my faith in You

And to You draw me close

Let You always be my first thought
