Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Luke 6:28


My flesh wants to fight

When someone mistreats me

I want to lash out if they

Hurt myself or my family


But being a follower of Christ

Tells me to turn the other cheek

To pray and bless them and

Only kind words to speak


Father help me truly love

Those who have caused pain

To hear Your instruction and from

Retaliation I must refrain
