The Future Not The Past

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10

Recently I sat with someone

Who was regretting their life

They were at the end years and

They shared with me their strife

They regretted their choices so I told

Them they have much to still give

They didn’t want to hear it because

The enemy had control of them

I prayed for them and asked

God to help me not live in the past

Instead looking toward my Lord

So I will have peace that will last
