Take Up Your Cross

Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:38


When I hear the saying

Take up your cross

My mind pictures Jesus

Suffering for the lost


He did not have to bear it

But He did so out of love

He was obedient to

His Father up above


Father our crosses are not

Nearly as heavy as Yours

Even though it was our sin
