Speaking With Intention

A gentle word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1


God is teaching me to think

Before I utter a word

Asking if what I am saying

Needs to be heard


Asking Him if it could be

Considered hurtful or mean

If so then I should be silent

And remain serene


Thank You Father for

Your divine intervention

Helping me be silent and
