Purpose In The Pain

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21


I cried out to the Lord

To help me understand

Why this pain hasn’t left

By the motion of His hand


He said child there is

A purpose in the pain

One day you will see it

And it will be explained


He said it can be hard to live in

A world so broken and sad

But I have a plan and a purpose
