Pray For My Enemy

You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbor and hate your enemy." But I tell you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:44


Father help me pray this day

For those who are enemies

Empower me to request Your blessing

To them even if they are my nemesis


It is easy to love those people

Who are like minded and easy to love

Help me love the difficult

And show them how You love


Father iI ask for Your divine help

To pray for those most difficult

Truly seeking the best for them

No matter to me their ambivalence
