Words have the power to pierce

A person’s heart with joy or dismay

We can use our words to build

Someone up or to tear them down

Leaving their hearts full or

Causing sadness to abound

Father let my words be filled

With love and hope in You

Sharing words that pierce one’s heart

With Your love leaving them renewed
