Last Breath

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was

bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our

peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5


He breathed His last breath as

He was pierced on His side

He cried “It is finished”'

Then Our Precious Jesus died


He was wrapped in linen

And placed in a tomb

His disciples were saddened

Over them grief loomed


But death would not hold Him

It had no power over our King

He had taken death and sin away

And freedom He would bring
