When we are suffering it

Can be difficult to have joy

To see past the pain in our life

Letting our peace be destroyed


We must remember that God is

Refining us through perseverance

Taking every pain and hardship

Giving us a hope that has endurance


Father remind us to consider it pure

Joy when trouble knocks at our door

And You are right beside us
