As I look through my journals of poetry

My heart is filled with gratefulness

To my Lord and Friend who gave me

Each one to help cope with my diagnosis

He faithfully filled each journal

With His great love and care

Making sure to give me strength

Knowing with Him I can go anywhere

Father thank You for Your care and

Comfort through these journals

Loving me through it all and giving

Me a promise that is eternal
