A shell of my former self

Not feeling whole physically

Putting a strain on my mental health

When I am weak satan

Loves to talk to me

Whispering his lies and telling

Me that You don’t care for me

But then I get a text a card or a call

Telling me that I am loved

Sent by those who follow Christ

Covering me in God’s above
