Hold Peace For Ransom

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful building others up. Ephesians 4:29


Words carry so much weight

So be careful what you say

Our voices can build each other up

Or make someone’s peace go away


This world has enough hatred

Thrown about so carelessly

Speak encouragement over others

And watch them receive peace


Father help me watch my words

When I address another person

Don’t let my tongue destroy
