Hindrance Or Help

May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14


Are my words a hindrance or help

When I converse with others

Am I building up or tearing down

All my sisters and brothers


Father remind me every moment

Not to underestimate the words I speak

They can uplift another person or

Dismantle them and make them weak


Father help me be thoughtful

Before I utter a word to someone

So I have no regrets and leave

No person feeling undone
