Always check my heart

Removing any calluses

Where growth might start

Help me cleanse all the dirt

The devil wants to kick my way

Replacing it with Your love

As I kneel to pray

Father I pray for a soft heart

And a soul that yearns for You

Never settling for earthly gems

That will dim my beautiful view
