He Calms My Soul

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21


I was crying and upset

Over the latest diagnosis

Then I read His Word and it

Helped me with the prognosis


It calmed my soul like

Nothing in this world can

It made me feel so strong

And reminded me who I am


A child of my Lord who is

In control of everything

The faithful good and gracious
