God Said No

"Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns." Matthew 16:23


Satan tried to bring darkness

To blind and confuse my way

But God said to him NO

And I praised God's name


He tried again to dim the light

That God had given to me

And again God said NO

I thanked Him and said praise to Him be


A third time for satan was no use

So satan turned away

God just held me close
