God’s Purpose

This post isn’t a poem. It is something God has been telling me to share. I am 59 years old. I have written poetry my entire life, sporadically. I was saved and served in my church most of my days. I did not know my purpose until I got pancreatic cancer. God started a work in me many years ago for which I am truly grateful.

I have always admired people who knew scripture by heart and were confident in who they were in Christ. Through my purpose, God gave His Word to me to memorize in a way that was easy for me. With every poem, God breathed scripture into me. Through my daily walk with Him in this cancer journey, He has made me confident in whom I am in Him, which is all that matters.

So young or old, if you don’t know your purpose, don’t worry! You are God’s handiwork and He will fulfill His purpose for You in His timing.

I know that everyone’s journey is different. God used my purpose and blessed me with scripture. He may bless you differently because you already know scripture. You may have known your purpose soon after your salvation. We are all different but we all need God! Amen!

GOD IS BIGGER THAN CANCER!!!!
