Gaze On God

Fixing my eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:2


When I take my eyes off God

I lose focus on what really matters

My attention goes to worldly priorities

My joy and happiness scatter


When I don't focus on God

I can fixate on problems and past

Losing my sense of self worth

And hope and joy do not last


Father help me keep my gaze

Solely on Your plans for me

So I will not grow weary but

Will finish the race with Thee
