Father let the first thing I

Think of when I wake be You

Before I take my first step

Help me ask what I should do


Before my first sip of coffee

Reaches my lips let me praise

My Lord Father and Saviour and

Let it continue through my day


When I lay down at night

Help me remember to thank You

For another day I’ve been given
