Fighting Sadness

Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

We should be merciful to others

This bustling Christmas season

Some people are fighting sadness

For a multitude of reasons

Whether it be death or depression

Each battle is hard at best

Be kind to others who aren’t joyous

And pray they get healing and rest

Father help those who struggle

During this time of year

Cover them with Your grace

And to You bring them near
