Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19


Father help me hold my tongue

When I want to respond in anger

Don’t let me be a cruel person

But remain in You my Anchor


Help me speak less often so

I will hear what others say

Caring enough to listen and

Loving them enough to pray


Remind me with every word I speak

To talk to others in a kind way

Even if they are difficult or harsh
