Convicted

Because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. 1 Thessalonians 1:5

Does God ever convict you of

Something you thought was over

Asking if you’re still talking about it

Have you truly forgiven another

I sat in silence for a moment

And reflected on what He said

It was a hard pill to swallow

So His forgiveness I pled

Afterwards I thanked Him

For loving me so much

To continually teach this soul

And on me never give up
