Another Wrinkle

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16


As I look in the mirror and

See new wrinkles on my face

My heart saddens a little

Because I see youth fade away


God comforts me by reminding

Me of my final destination

This world is only temporary

Because of His offer of salvation


Thank You for another year Father

And every wrinkle on my face

I know I don't belong in this world and

One day I'll go home to a better place
