Fear can cause so much pain

Worry anxiety and stress

It can derail your entire day

Making you forget you’re blessed

Fear tries to tell me that

The cancer has spread

Waking me up at night

Filling me with dread

When I wake I denounce

All that fear tries to do

Instead I look to God

And His peace I pursue
