Take My Thoughts Captive

We demolish arguments and

every pretension that sets itself

up against the knowledge of God,

and we take captive every thought

to make it obedient to Christ.

2 Corinthians 15:55

satan likes to lie and deceive

Planting thoughts in our mind

Destruction death and derailment

To us he wants to bind

But God tells us that we are

Fearfully and wonderfully made

We should replace satan’s lies

With God’s Word and His Grace

Take your thoughts captive and

Ask God’s peace to guard your heart

Dismantle all of satan’s lies and

From him you must depart
