Today I asked myself a hard

Question what is motivating me

Is it using my life to please God

Or to please others I see

For I am nothing without my Lord

The One who has saved me

I have no powers in me

The power is only through Thee

Lord keep my motivation pure and

Securely grounded in serving You

Not living for the world’s approval

But glorifying You in all I do
