Help Me Lord

I prayed God would give me a poem for today because I was feeling so tired that I could not focus on Him. God gave me the following verses and this poem. Isaiah 66:12, Ephesians 6:11, Job 1:18 and Acts 13:52. I love how He works!

And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52

Father I want to rest in You
Through all the trouble life brings
Help me turn to You when tempted
And only to You cling

I want peace like a river
That can only be given by You
Help me withstand the schemes
And sins the devil would have me do

I ask You to forgive me
Of all the sin I commit
And fill me with joy
And with the Holy Spirit

Finally Lord I pray
That You dress me in Your armor
So that I can withstand this world
And bring You glory and honor
