God has given me a foundation

That is rooted in His Word

Carrying me through any trouble

Leaving me undeterred


God has given me His grace

All my sins are forgiven

Securing a future unearned

With Him in Heaven


God has given me peace

Even in the worst of times

Covering me like a warm blanket
