A Crown Of Beauty

To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:3

Thank You for beauty instead of ashes

Replacing my worry with Your hope

You walk beside me in trouble

Always helping me to cope

You give the oil of joy for mourning

Taking my sadness so I can go on

Letting me see the goodness in trials

And making me in You be strong

You give a garment of praise for despair

I will worship You at all times

Giving me Your mercy and grace

All through my lifetime
